Bike the Best of the Badlands

Bike the Best of the Badlands is a premier cycling event held annually during WHEELIN’ TO WALL, inviting cyclists of all levels to explore the stunning landscapes of South Dakota's Badlands. Participants can choose from a variety of routes, including paved distances of 31 or 38 miles and gravel options of 35 or 64 miles, ensuring an enjoyable experience for both casual and avid bikers. The event emphasizes community engagement and the beauty of the surrounding area, making it a perfect opportunity to connect with fellow cycling enthusiasts. Starting at 511 Glenn Street, just steps from the iconic Wall Drug Store, the event features fully supported courses with aid stations and SAG support. Riders can enjoy the breathtaking views of ancient sandstone formations while benefiting from shuttle services to designated starting points. E-bikes are welcome, allowing even more participants to experience the thrill of cycling through this unique terrain. The event is designed as a recreational ride rather than a race, fostering a relaxed atmosphere for all. Proceeds from WHEELIN’ TO WALL are dedicated to enhancing the walking and biking infrastructure in the Wall-Badlands area, contributing to the community's growth and sustainability.
