This year, we are excited to collaborate with Pebble Hill and the City of Thomasville to enhance the festivities with spectator-friendly activities, including live music, local food and shopping vendors, and engaging activities for all ages. Your participation in this annual event will support the Pebble Hill Preservation Fund, contributing to the conservation of our community’s rich heritage. The Clay Road Classic features a self-supported endurance gravel road ride, showcasing some of the most picturesque clay roads in the country. With over 300 miles of interconnected clay roads in the Red Hills Region, participants will enjoy a scenic journey through this expansive landscape. Riders are encouraged to use a GPS device or a compatible app to navigate the route, as there will be no markings or directions provided. Whether you are an avid cyclist or a supportive spectator, the Clay Road Classic offers something for everyone. Experience the thrill of the ride at your own pace, whether you prefer a competitive speed or a leisurely exploration. Recognition will be awarded to the fastest finishers, but all participants are invited to relish the adventure.
