Crooked Gravel is an exhilarating cycling event inspired by the pioneering spirit of the legendary Ron Kiefel's Crooked Roubaix. Both routes begin and end in downtown Winter Park, featuring a neutral, police-led start down Main Street, ensuring a safe and organized experience for all riders. The event offers a challenging long course of 67 miles, which includes a significant climb to an elevation of 10,500 feet, providing participants with a rewarding test of endurance and skill. For those seeking a more leisurely experience, a 25-mile untimed Recreational category is available, allowing riders to enjoy the scenery at their own pace. Cash prizes are awarded for top finishers in the long course, along with age group awards for both distances, fostering a competitive yet inclusive atmosphere.
