The Gravel Battle of Sumter Forest is an exciting new event in the Southeast Gravel Series, taking place on May 17, 2025, at a revamped downtown start/finish in Whitmire, SC. The race promises a unique blend of urban charm and rugged gravel challenges, with fun river crossings and iconic tunnels under I-26 adding extra excitement. Cyclists can choose from three courses: a challenging 73-mile long course, a 49-mile short course, or a 13-mile fun course. Fully stocked aid stations, free food, and cold beer ensure riders stay fueled and refreshed throughout the ride. Plus, the first 200 registrants receive a free custom SEG water bottle, adding to the festive, community-focused spirit of the event.
