Lake District Gravel Epic

Coniston Gravel Epic invites riders to experience the breathtaking beauty of the Lake District through a series of challenging off-road routes. Participants can choose from three distances: 90km with 2,150m of elevation, 66km with 1,500m, or 50km with 1,150m. Each route showcases a mix of smooth gravel fire roads and technical sections, leading through the stunning Grizedale Forest and over iconic Lake District fells, offering panoramic views and a true sense of adventure. The event is designed for cyclists of varying skill levels, with the long route catering to experienced riders and the shorter options suitable for those seeking a rewarding challenge. Riders will encounter diverse terrain, including steep climbs and flowing descents, ensuring an exhilarating experience. Support is provided throughout the event, including fully signed routes, checkpoints with refreshments, and on-site mechanics to assist with any bike issues.
