The Siskiyou Scenic Bicycle Tour returns on May 17-18, 2025, offering a variety of road and gravel rides through the stunning landscapes of Siskiyou County, CA. Cyclists can choose from six road routes on Saturday, including a 104-mile century ride with 6,027 feet of elevation gain and a 67-mile metric century, all starting from Upper Greenhorn Park in Yreka. Sunday features three additional rides, including two gravel adventures over Greenhorn Summit and a 35.3-mile pavement ride through Scott Valley. Each route showcases breathtaking mountain and valley scenery, with well-stocked rest stops, SAG support, and a post-ride meal. Riders who participate both days receive a $20 discount, and tent camping is available at Greenhorn Park for $15 per night. Proceeds from the event support community projects and scholarships through the Rotary Club of Yreka and Jefferson Mountain Bike Association. With challenging climbs, rolling terrain, and picturesque backroads, this open-course event promises an unforgettable cycling experience. Registration fees range from $35 to $85, with event t-shirts available for purchase. Late registration begins May 3rd, and all routes must be completed by 4:00 PM each day.
