Strada Bellamy

Strada Bellamy Sportif is a 217km endurance ride featuring both paved and unpaved roads, inspired by the renowned Strade Bianche in Tuscany. The route highlights sections of the historic Old Bellamy Road, Florida’s first federal highway built in the 1820s. With over 125km of unpaved sectors and strategically placed feed zones at 65km, 111km, and 161km, the ride challenges cyclists with a mix of terrain and endurance demands. Held annually the Saturday after Easter, the 2025 edition has been rescheduled to avoid the high temperatures of late April. A shorter 99km version, the “Strada Bambino,” offers an alternative for riders seeking a less demanding challenge. Course maps will be available in the event discussion the week before the ride. This is an unsupported event on open public roads, meaning riders must be self-sufficient and aware of potential hazards. Participants are advised to assess their abilities, carry essential gear, and use a 50+ lumen rear flasher for visibility. Strada Bellamy Sportif is a true test of endurance for gravel enthusiasts.
