Strada Campina is an exhilarating gravel cycling event set in the picturesque region of De Kempen. Participants will gather at the Gustaaf Klimt venue, a former mail sorting facility transformed into an indoor climbing and bouldering hall. The event features a variety of routes that showcase the stunning fens, forests, fields, and heather plains of the area. Each route is designed to provide a unique experience, with GPS tracks available for navigation, allowing riders to explore the diverse terrain at their own pace. Cyclists can choose from four distinct routes: 200km, 150km, 110km, and 80km, each offering a blend of scenic gravel roads and captivating landscapes. The longer routes venture through notable landmarks such as the Liereman and Ravels Forests, while the shorter options provide a delightful introduction to the region's charm. All routes are subject to continuous optimization, ensuring an engaging experience for both seasoned riders and newcomers alike. Registration is straightforward, with a nominal entry fee that includes essential amenities such as GPS tracks, refreshments, and well-stocked feed zones. Participants are reminded that the routes are GPS-based only and will not be marked, necessitating a GPS device for navigation. Emphasizing safety and camaraderie, Strada Campina encourages riders to respect traffic regulations and enjoy the journey through the captivating landscapes of De Kempen.
