The Yorkshire Dales Gravel X, taking place on September 27, 2025, is a challenging off-road adventure in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. With steep climbs, technical gravel, and breathtaking views, this route takes riders past the iconic Ribblehead Viaduct, the Yorkshire 3 Peaks, and the legendary Cam High Road—one of the UK’s best gravel through-roads. The event features two routes: • Long Route (87 km, 1,750 m elevation) – A tough gravel and backroad mix, featuring Ingleborough, Ribblehead Viaduct, Cam High Road, and remote Pennine trails. • Medium Route (49 km, 1,000 m elevation) – A shorter but still challenging option that retains the stunning Yorkshire 3 Peaks views and rolling climbs without the longer remote sections. With 50-55% off-road terrain, including farm tracks, Pennine bridleways, and rough Dales gravel, this ride is best suited for experienced off-road cyclists looking for a big day out in one of the UK’s most scenic cycling regions.
